1st of the 10th Cav

D Troop 1/10 Cav Shamrocks

D Troop was the Air Cavalry Troop of the 4th Infantry Division Cavalry Squadron.
D Troop had 8 OH-6s, (eventually replaced by the OH-58)

8 AH-1Gs ;and

8 UH-1 D/H.

D Troop stayed in Viet Nam when the Division went back to the states.

Tom Wilson, who supply the above information and all of the photos in this area, served in the Troop as a crewchief on a UH-1 and and aero scout in OH-58s (1970-71).
